ADEE has initiated a regional Ambassador scheme which is co-ordinated by Professor Gökhan Alpaslan. ADEE Ambassadors provide a link at regional level between the Association and dental educators in the country or region to which the Ambassador has been appointed.
Aim
An Ambassador is the representative of ADEE in a particular country or designated region.
The primary function of the Ambassador is
- to raise the profile of ADEE in a given area
- to facilitate communication and collaboration through the increased visibility and accessibility of ADEE in a country or region
- to support and encourage schools and institutions to become members of ADEE.

Communication
In order to facilitate the realisation of ADEE objectives it is vitally important that we have up to date information and contact details for the CURRENT Deans and key ADEE contact persons in schools and institutions that are already members of ADEE. We must also have accurate information for personnel in newly established dental schools

Term of Office
Ambassadors are appointed by the ADEE Executive Committee for a two year term. Depending on the willingness of the Ambassadors and current circumstances reappointment for one further term is possible. Ambassadors may avail of complimentary individual membership and complimentary registration for annual meetings for the duration of their appointment.
In September 2008 the Executive Committee of ADEE assigned Ambassadors to the regions or countries listed below. We thank the Ambassadors for agreeing to give time to this initiative and we encourage you to make contact with the Ambassador from you area.
