Membership

Institutional membership is open to:

1. University Dental Schools
   University dental schools are eligible for immediate membership provided they are prepared to support the aims and objectives of the Association and to pay annual dues. They shall apply for membership to the Secretary General.
2. National dental associations of the countries of Europe
   National associations for dental education of the countries of Europe are eligible for immediate membership provided they are prepared to support the aims and objectives of the Association and to pay annual dues. They shall apply for membership to the Secretary General.
3. European Associations or Specialist societies concerned with or related to dental education.

National associations, specialist societies or national dental educational bodies, other than those named under 1 A B may apply for membership to the Secretary General who will submit the application to the Executive Committee for consideration. The applicant will be admitted if its objectives are not in conflict with the objectives of ADEE.

Benefits to ADEE Institutional Membership
There are many institutional benefits to ADEE membership for Dental Schools and Societies; benefits are regularly updated and currently include:

• Full institutional access (all staff and students) to the European Journal of Dental Education

Affiliated Membership is open to:

1. National dental educational bodies (i.e. for auxiliary personnel) not affiliated with an institution eligible for category 1 membership.
2. Universities, dental schools, national associations and other national dental educational bodies outside Europe.

Institutions conducting educational programmes for auxiliary dental personnel. Such programmes that are under the administrative control of an active member institution and that are conducted at the main teaching site of that active member institution are included in the membership of the active member institution.
Dental hygiene, assisting, and laboratory technology education programmes that are under the administrative control of an active member institution and are conducted away from the main teaching site of that active member institution must all be considered.

There are many institutional benefits to ADEE membership for Dental Schools and Societies; benefits are regularly updated and currently include:

ADEE Offers corporate membership to Commercial organisations dealing with products and/or services relevant to dental education and/or dentistry are eligible to apply for corporate membership.
Companies elected to corporate membership may not cite it for commercial purposes, e.g. to imply ADEE endorsement of products and services. Application should be submitted to the Secretary General and the admittance to corporate membership is decided by the Executive Committee.

ADEE views its engagement with corporate members as one of a mutually beneficial relationship in endeavors to better dental education in Europe; Members is offered at four levels Gold, Gold Exhibiting, Gold Exhibiting including Partners Platform and Platinum each with tailored benefits to the category of membership:

Gold Membership

In addition to complimentary meeting registration for two delegates corporate members may avail of:

In addition to Gold Membership benefits this includes a 2m x 2m Exhbition booth at our annual meeting.

Gold Exhibiting & Partners Platform Membership

In addition to Gold Exhibiting Membership benefits this includes a 30 minute Partners Presenttaion Slot at our annual meeting.

Platinum Membership

In addition to complimentary meeting registration for two delegates, Premier Corporate members receive:

• A standard exhibition booth free of charge at the annual meeting
• Premier placement at the ADEE exhibition venue
• Option to participate in parallel session at Annual scientific meetings without an addition fee
• Names and logos of Premier Corporate members are prominently displayed on the website and at ADEE meetings

ADEE Offers two forms of individual membership

1. Honorary: Proposals for election to Honorary membership may be made to the Executive Committee by any member, but individuals may only be nominated for honorary membership by the Executive Committee. Their nomination must receive approval by at least two-thirds of those present at a meeting of the General Assembly.
2. Individual: (where applicants institution is NOT a member of ADEE). Any person with a demonstrable interest in dental or allied dental education is eligible to apply for Individual membership to the Secretary General, provided that their institution is not already a member. 

Any student enrolled in any accredited university programme of a dental school or a post doctoral dental education programme, is eligible to apply for Individual membership to the Secretary General.
