DentCPD - Harmonisation of Continuing Professional Development
DentCPD was a two year European project entitled 'Harmonisation and standardisation of European Dental Schools programs of continuing professional development for graduate dentists'. This project identify agreed essential CPD requirements of an EU graduate dentist and provide guidelines for the management and delivery of high quality CPD by European dental schools.
European Journal of Dental Education
The Journal's aim is to publish original, topical and review articles of the highest quality in the field of dental education. The Journal seeks to disseminate widely the latest information on curriculum development, teaching methodologies, assessment techniques and quality assurance in the fields of dental undergraduate and postgraduate education and dental auxiliary personnel training. The scope includes the dental educational aspects of the basic medical sciences, the behavioural sciences, the interface with medical education, information technology and distance learning and educational audit.

CECDO - Council of European Chief Dental Officers
The Council aims to provide a forum for the exchange of views on dental matters which affect European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) member countries. It exists to offer advice to National Governments, to the Commission and others on matters affecting European dentistry through the creation and maintenance of a contact organization for European Chief Dental Officers (CECDO).
CED - Council of European Dentists
The Council of European Dentists (CED) is a European not-for-profit association which represents over 340,000 dentists across Europe. It was formerly called the EU Dental Liaison Committee (EU DLC), but its name was changed in May 2006. The association was established in 1961 and is now composed of 32 national dental associations from 30 European countries.
