ADEE invites expressions of interest to join the Graduating European Dentist (GED) Taskforce

The ADEE Graduating European Dentist (GED) Taskforce with the approval of the ADEE Board are looking to expand its membership so as to include a representative Region 2: Scandinavia and Baltic countries. On this occasion we are particularly interested in hearing from academics from member schools who have demonstrable experience in setting up and managing Learning Management Systems such as Moodle. To find out more and to make an application (must be faculty of a member institution) click here.

Publication of two ADEE commentaries

ADEE is delighted to share two papers that we are confident will be of interest to our members.

The GED Stakeholder Forum has recently published ‘Exploring the Capabilities of a Graduating European Dentist: A Multistakeholder View’ in the European Journal of Dental Education. This paper summarises discussions and evolving positions of the group in advance of their next planned meeting to be held in Dublin 24th September 2026. The paper can be accessed here and is available free to faculty of ADEE membership by accessing the journal through the ADEE website and your username.

The GED taskforce along with key stakeholder representatives have also published ‘Considering Quality in Dental Education’, a brief commentary that aspires to evolve a shared understanding and common language for use in the area of quality in oral health professionals education. The paper can be accessed here and is available free to faculty of ADEE membership by accessing the journal through the ADEE website and your username.
