ADEE Leuven Sunday Preview:
Welcome to Day One of ADEE 2024 Leuven
We look forward to welcoming so many of you to Day 1 of ADEE 2024 on Sunday. By now you will probably have already explored some of Leuven and have seen first-hand some of what it has to offer us.
Sunday is our first full day of programmes and below you can find some key highlights to keep an eye out for:

The Meeting Venue for all academic and exhibition sessions is at the KU Leuven Campus Gasthuisberg, Herestraat 49, 3000 Leuven. The simplest way to get there is by public bus. You can take any bus travelling to Gasthuisberg. Please note that on Sunday's the bus No 3, terminates at the hospital and you will have to take a short walk to the University campus. We will have students and signage positioned at the Hospital stop from 09:00 to 10:30 to direct you towards via and internal and external route to the meeting venues. |

The fun run sets off from in front of town hall at 07:30 so those planning on taking part who have pre registered please check your inbox for more details |

Onsite registration opens at 09:00 and we will be serving some morning coffee and light refreshments for those of you who arrive early in the Exhibition hall. |

Plenary One: A.I. in educationSunday’s Plenary features a presentation by Maarten De Vos, who will help us start to unpack some of the meetings key themes around Artificial Intelligence and the session also includes presentation of the ADEE Mature Career Awards 2024 and the ADEE Oral B Inter Professional Educator Awards 2024.

We close out day one with two exciting networking opportunities:

Beer tasting in the exhibition hall facilitated by Bierolade and jointly supported by PLANMECA and SIMtoCARE. Hear about and taste some of the traditions of beer making in Belgium, don’t worry non alcoholics options are available.

The Sunday Social event will be held at the Faculty Club from 19:30 kindly supported by Durr Dental. Make sure you join us for an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and experience some of the welcome Leuven has to offer.
