Learning together to improve oral health and quality of life

November 2021

Save the date: ADEE 2022 Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain

The ADEE executive is committed to delivering a face to face meeting for our members in 2022. While we will of course continue to monitor the local and regional implications of COVID-19, we are intent on delivering a meeting in collaborations with Escuela Universitaria ADEMA, Universitat de les Illes Balears and the Palau de Congressos de Palma & Meliá Palma Bay. Full programme details will be issued in early January 2022, with a call for abstracts and early bird registration expected to launch late February 2022. An element of the meeting will also be made available in hybrid format.

Please save the dates 24th - 26th August 2022 so you may join us for a meeting of like-minded oral health professional educators in the beautiful surroundings of the Balearic Island of Spain.

Erasmus + O-Health-Project Survey is live

Our Erasmus + project ‘O-Health-Edu’ is now live and we are asking member schools to be among the first to complete the online survey and launch their institutions report card. Participation in O-Health-Edu will enable you to promote your school to an international and regional market. It will also feed into one of the largest summary and analysis reports of the current state of oral health professionals' education in Europe.

We encourage Deans and Heads to please action the email you have received and if you can not locate this email to contact administrator@adee.org who will gladly send you a fresh invitation.

Increase in incidents of spam and online fraud: Be web wise!

We have been made aware of a number of online and email scams that are claiming to be associated with ADEE, its office or members of the Executive. Under no circumstances should anyone transfer money under the guise of it being for ADEE without ensuring it is a valid claim for payment. ADEE committee members do not get paid for participation, nor do they collect or discharge any funding on behalf of ADEE. All committee expense are paid for directly by the ADEE office.

Any emails claiming to be from members looking for financial support to enable them to do ADEE related activity are fake.

We encourage you to follow a simple rule, if you have any doubt then it is very likely to be a fake. To be sure check in with the ADEE office and we will quickly clarify for you.
