Session synopsis: 

Selected delegates get the opportunity to pitch their work using the LTB e-poster platform which will be allowed up to three slides and a total of 5 minutes to present their work and take questions from the panel and delegates.

The session aims to encourage wide dissemination of their work presenters will speak to their e-poster and encourage delegates to visit their work to find out more.

This session focuses on Technology Enhanced Learning

Priv.-Doz. Dr Ina Schüler is head of Section of Preventive and Paediatric Dentistry at Jena University Hospital, Germany. She finished her Habilitation in 2018 at Jena University Hospital and the Master of Medical Education (MME-D) in 2017 at University Heidelberg. Her special educational research interests are Feedback, Assessment, Chairside Teaching and Entrustable Professional Activities in Dentistry. Ina's medical resaerch focusses on oral health in patients with special healthcare needs.

Elene Gigineishvili

Assistant Professor, Dean of the Dental Faculty
The University of Georgia

Dr. Elene Gigineishvili has been the Dean of Dental Faculty at the University of Georgia since 2015. She is an accreditation and authorization expert at Georgia's National Center for Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) and a member of the Sectoral Council of Higher Education in Dentistry. Elene has held the position of Executive Committee Member of the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) since 2023 and serves as a panel member of the ADEEs Leader program.

In 2022, she earned her PhD in Public Health, with a dissertation titled "Oral Health, Quality and Accessibility of Dental Care Services in People with Disabilities in Georgia". 

Dr. Gigineishvili is an active member of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).  She is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Dental Clinic of the University of Georgia. Elene delivers lectures in Therapeutic and Pediatric Dentistry to undergraduate students.
