ADEE 2021 Online Delegate Evaluation

Thank you most sincerely for your registration and participation in ADEE 2021 online meeting.
As a final action we invite you to complete this survey so we can learn from the experience and continue to deliver our members a valuable meeting experience both online and in person in 2022. The survey invites your comments on 7 areas; our speakers, e-poster sessions, special interest groups, FREEStage, featured sessions, Strasbourg ReView and meeting administration. 
At ADEE 2021 we had three invited speakers all closely linked to our host city of Strasbourg; Prof Jean-Marie Lehn Nobel Laureate, Dr Elda Moreno Head of the Children’s Rights and Sport Values Department, Council of Europe and Prof Jacques Marescaux Founding President of the Research Institute against Digestive Cancer (IRCAD). Each of these shared a specific area of interest to dental educators in the areas of research, networks, children's rights, technology and much more. ADEE 2021 saw over 80 accepted e-poster abstracts, 3 online presentation sessions offering time to present to all those who had their work accepted. We also have a selected oral and Topic related presentation session where selected presenters were given upto 15 minutes to provide a more detailed presentation on their work. Did you attend any of these sessions?
Having either attended or participated in the online e-poster session we would like you to provide us with your thoughts on the experience. Comparing this to our traditional poster presentation sessions was it?

If ADEE was considering moving their poster presentations to an online format, what would your thoughts on this be? Would it deter you from travelling to the annual meeting? Would you be willing to pay a small fee (€25) to participate in a series of online poster sessions to showcase your and colleagues work and research, where a selection of these would be invited to re present in a face to face setting at the annual meeting? What are your general thoughts on moving to a fully online e-poster format to free up face to face meeting time at the annual meeting? Please add your comments and suggestions below.

Having experienced a SIG online, what is the ideal future for the SIG format, what are your thoughts on it being a hybrid model blending online and in person, should online be used to advance work between meetings, should face to face be used for more hands on sharing and training exercises etc. We well all your thoughts and ideas on how we can evolve our special interest group format to the post covid era.

Having experienced a FREEStage online, what is the ideal future for the format, what are your thoughts on it being a hybrid model blending online and in person, should online be used to advance work between meetings, should face to face be used for more hands on sharing and training exercises etc. We well all your thoughts and ideas on how we can evolve our special interest group format to the post covid era.
At ADEE 2021 we delivered our first non English speaking session with Prof Thierry PELACCIA presenting in French to over 100 online delegates. The session attracted considerable interaction and participation. Given the success of the session we are interested to know if you think ADEE should explore the delivery of non English sessions at its annual meetings. For example in the host venue's language, offer a parallel session in French, Spanish and German or some other alternative options.

During ADEE 2021 we offered a number of briefing session on key aspects of European dental education, these included updates on the O-Health-Edu Erasmus + project, ADEE constitution review briefings, update on the SPARK review of the Annex V of the EU professional qualifications directive and other such items. Did you attend these sessions?

ADEE has recorded the vast majority of our online ADEE 2021 content. This is exclusively available to paid delegates until the end of 2021. Have you revisited any of this content since the live session.
