Learning together to improve oral health and quality of life

Coming up between 4th to 12th May at ADEE Strasbourg Online Meeting 2021

The time has come to join us at ADEE 2021. Our first two weeks of sessions bring a mix of invited speakers, interactive workshops and selected delegate’s oral presentations. Read on for more on what you can expect in these sessions.

Tuesday 4th May at 16:00: Opening Session and Prof Jean-Marie Lehn Nobel Laureate

Our opening live session sees Prof Jean-Marie Lehn, Nobel Laureate, present 'Steps towards Life: Chemistry!' where he discusses and theorises that chemistry provides a bridge that unravels the steps from the molecules of inanimate matter to the highly complex molecular architectures and systems which make up living and thinking organisms. The session is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and discuss such concepts with the Nobel Laureate

Wednesday 5th May at 16:00: ADEE Tech Talks & Expo 2021 Part 1

ADEE’s popular Tech Talks and Tech Expo are back to provide a blend of key note and delegate presentations with an opportunity to engage with key corporate partners in the area of simulation, haptics and other innovative technologies. This session features a live key note presented by haptics expert Piet Lammertse who shares his cross sectoral experiences from aviation, rehabilitation services, ophthalmology and of course dentistry. Added to this is the opportunity to see the latest innovations from SIMtoCARE and Virteasy Dental by HRV, making the session a must for all dental educators. As we will be using breakout rooms in this session it is important that you follow the link to register with zoom in advance of this session.

Wednesday 12th May commencing at 12:00 noon: A selection of delegate oral poster presentations

Delegate contribution and participation has always been at the centre of ADEE meetings and this year is no different. Throughout the meeting, we will feature the work of many delegates from our member institutions. This starts today with three dedicated sessions featuring selected oral poster presentations. We encourage you to join your colleagues online to hear of their work and research and provide them with feedback and support. Details of those speaking and the session titles and times can be seen at the following links:
