Exploring AI in Dental Education Survey

The ADEE Professionalism Community of Practice is interested in hearing from educators and students in dentistry about their experiences with artificial intelligence in their teaching, learning, and assessment. Please participate in this short anonymous survey (20 questions) available at here. The findings from the survey will be used to fuel discussion and further data collection at a workshop planned for the ADEE Annual Meeting in Leuven meeting.

 

Join the the work of the GED taskforce on Domain V Research

As the open consultation for the GED Domain V (Research) draws to a close, the GED taskforce are inviting expressions of interest for individuals with an interest and expertise in teaching and assessing research skills. The chosen individual(s) will join the taskforce for a defined period to assist in developing much-needed published resources relating to how more difficult aspects of research are taught and assessed at undergraduate level. We are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience of teaching or assessing research skills
  • Significant experience of leading undergraduate dental or oral health professional programmes
  • Demonstrable impact of innovative methods of teaching and assessment
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively and efficiently as a team
  • Recognition of excellence in learning and teaching

EOI detailing how individuals meet the criteria, should be submitted to denis.murphy@adee.org no later than Monday 1st July at noon UK time.

 

Deadline Extended: EDJE Open Call Special Edition: Artificial Intelligence in Dental Education

The European Journal of Dental Education currently has an open call for submission for consideration for inclusion in a special edition to be published this year focusing on Artificial Intelligence in Dental Education. For more information on the areas of interest to the issue and on how to make a submission please visit the journal's call notice.
