Reminder: Reminder: Call for membership ADEE GED Taskforce

The ADEE Graduating European Dentist (GED) Taskforce with the approval of the ADEE Board are looking to expand its membership so as to include representatives from each of the ADEE Regions. On this occasion we are particularly interested in hearing from academics from member schools in ADEE Regions 3, 5 and 6. Application is via expression of interest in the format of a summary two page letter outlining how they meet the requirements outlined here.

Scam Alert

We are aware of an ongoing scam that is attempting to pass itself off as coming from our president Prof Brian O'Connell or other members of the ADEE Executive. Please note ADEE board members will not contact you directly to seek assistance for funding. Always check the validity of the email, in most cases it can be clearly seen that the emails are not from ADEE or the individuals in question. Read more here.

Reminder ADEE 2025 Dublin Accommodation Special Rates

Members are reminded that the ADEE 2025 hotel special offer rates will expire on 31^st March 2025. Thereafter ADEE cannot guarantee the rates and you may be charged considerably higher prices for your visit to Dublin. There are currently circa 120 rooms remaining so we encourage you to act promptly. You can access the room booking website directly here.

ADEE 2025 Abstract Submission

Abstract submissions for ADEE 2025 Dublin remain open until 15^th April 2025. Please note there can be no extension to this deadline. To find out more on how to submit your abstracts click here.

Reminder ADEE membership Dues

Invoices for ADEE 2025 institutional membership dues were issued the first week in January. We remind colleagues that to avail of membership delegate rates at ADEE 2025 or to obtain group booking discounts, institutional fees must be up to date. We appreciate your ongoing support of our work!

ADEE 2025 Awards Now Open For Applications 

The ADEE 2025 Awards are now open for applications in the following categories:

. Early and Mature Career Educators - Closing Date 31^st May 2025;
. Intra/Inter professional Educators in collaboration with Oral B - Closing Date 31^st May 2025;
. Preventative Dentistry in Society Awards in collaboration with Haleon - Closing Date 31^st May 2025;
. The Oral Health Professional Educators Practice Green and Social Excellence Awards in collaboration with Henry Schein and EDSA closing date 30^th June 2024.

ADEE carries out LEADER visit to Ankara University’s Faculty of Dentistry  

A peer review panel visited Ankara University’s Faculty of Dentistry from the 3^rd to the 6^th of March, 2025. During the visit, the panel conducted a thorough review of extensive documentation, assessed the site’s facilities, and held meetings with faculty and staff to gain deeper insight into the undergraduate dental program. The panel was particularly impressed by the quality of the facilities and the strong commitment of the leadership and staff to continuous quality improvement.
