Session synopsis: 

Student and faculty mobility and the application of meaningful collaboration are at the core of Europe's Erasmus concept. However, how it is experienced in practice by students, faculty and indeed institutions varies considerably within Europe. This session aims to bring together successful experiences of mobility and collaboration so institution's can make the most of the opportunities it provides. For this reason we have brought together a panel from key stakeholder groups to hear of their experiences and expectations.

Programme: 
This session blends delegate interaction and input with speaker and facilitator content to enable a dialogue unique to the meetings attendees. The programme runs from 11:00 to 13:00 hours.

Speakers: 

Cristina Manzanares

Professor of Human Anatomy and Embryology
University of Barcelona

Cristina graduated in Medicine in 1985 in the Autonomous University of Barcelona and then moved to Louvain (Belgium) where she obtained her PhD by the Catholic University of Louvain in 1988. Associated Professor of the newly founded Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Barcelona in 1989, she was promoted to Professor Titular of Human Anatomy and Embryology in 1992. Her main research interest lies in Bone biology, especially related to craniofacial development and osteointegration, and in the improvement of the teaching of Anatomy and Embryology in dental education.

Cristina was Secretary General as well as European Affairs Officer for ADEE.

Joaquim Ferreira Moreira

Joaquim Ferreira Moreira, PhD, MD, is Vice-Dean of IUCS, Head of the Department of Dental Sciences, IUCS, Coordinator of the Integrated Master's Degree in Dentistry of the IUCS and the Pedagogical Coordinator of CESPU Europa.

Sébastien Thierry

Deputy Director
French Erasmus Agency

Sébastien Thierry is a graduate of Sciences Po Bordeaux and Strasbourg. In 2000, he joined the French Erasmus agency as a project manager and then as a department manager.

From 2006 to 2009, he worked for FREREF (European Foundation for Research, Education and Training) to develop projects stimulating interregional cooperation.

Since 2009, he has been deputy director of French Erasmus agency and has supported the rise of Erasmus+ in the fields of higher education, school education, vocational and education training, adult education and integration. He was particularly involved in the preparation and implementation of the 2021-2027 program, around its four priorities: inclusion, ecological transition, digital transformation, participation in democratic life.

Angéline Nova

Directrice Bureau international
UFR des Sciences de Santé et du Sport

Directrice du bureau international Santé-Sport de l'Université de Lille, Angéline Nova y pilote l'activité menée en déclinaison de la stratégie internationale de l'UFR3S. Formée à l'ingénierie des projets européens, elle accompagne notamment le montage et la gestion des projets de collaboration scientifique et d'ingénierie pédagogique de l'institution : mobilités scientifiques, Masters, projet Interreg, formation professorale. Elle met aussi son expertise des relations internationales en Santé au service des réseaux nationaux et européens, en tant que co-fondatrice du réseau InterUniSanté qui réunit les équipes internationales des facultés de santé françaises, en tant que membre actif de l'EAIE Health & Welfare Community et en tant qu'évaluatrice et experte référente des agences Erasmus+ française et belge.

As the Head of the International office for Health & Sports at the University of Lille, Angéline Nova leads the activity designed according to the international strategy of the institution. She sets up and manages scientific and pedagogical projects: scientific mobility, Erasmus Mundus and Master degrees, Erasmus+ and Interreg projects, training the trainers. She also applies her expertise in internationalisation of Health at a national and European level: as co-founder of the InterUniSanté network which brings together the international stakeholders of French health Schools, as an active member of the EAIE Health & Welfare Community and as evaluator and expert for the French and Belgian Erasmus+ agencies.

Luka Banjšak

Post-graduate doctoral researcher
University of Zagreb's School of Dental Medicine.

Luka was EDSA (European dental students' association) president for two mandates, currently working as a student mentor, researcher and teaching assistant. His interest in education amelioration and curriculum standardization in the European region have started in his days as a student and further developed during his career. Additionally he continues to progress and build his clinical skills in his private practice.  He is currently Post-graduate doctoral researcher at University of Zagreb's School of Dental Medicine and Teaching assistant at University of Zagreb's School of Dental Medicine, Department of Dental anthropology.

Corrado Paganelli

Dean
The Dental School, University of Brescia, Italy

Corrado Paganelli DDS, MD is currently chair of the Board of IFDEA (International Federation of Dental Educators and Associations) and FEHDD (Forum of European Heads and Deans of Dental Schools), Former President CECDO (Council of European Chief Dental Officers) and ADEE (Association for Dental Education in Europe). Dean of dental school / clinic, and previously hygienist school and orthodontic program, Erasmus coordinator for medical school at University of Brescia – Italy. President-elect of IADR Nutrition group. He also chairs the dental expert panel (Expamed) for the EU Commission of the Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on Medical Devices.

Stephanie Tubert Jeannin

Professor of Dental Public Health
University Clermont Auvergne, France 

Prof Stephanie Tubert Jeannin, is Coordinator of the Erasmus + KA2 O-Health-Edu project, member of the UNESCO Chair in Global Health & Education, a member of the Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe, former Dean & current Professor of Dental Public Health at University Clermont Auvergne (France). Stephanie has strong interest in public and global health, and is string advocate fro inter professional care and education. She was former President of ADEE 2018-2019.
