Science has proven that diversity within organizations is driving more effectiveness in achieving goals while helping them become more resilient and innovative. Inclusion is required for diverse individuals to thrive while leading with equity is about recognizing the diversity of needs and being committed to giving people what they need to succeed.

Blending the diverse perspectives of multiculturality, generational shifts, leadership coaching and academic achievement, this session will look to:
- Create understanding around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and its benefits for academic leadership
- Look at role and the impact of unconscious bias on inclusion
- Raise awareness around the value of individual identity
- Provide a framework for academic leaders to mitigate unconscious biases and foster Diversity Equity and Inclusion

Cener Dogan is an experienced coach and facilitator in the field of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. She works with inclusive leaders on self-awareness, cultural competence, cognitive diversity, and psychological safety. Her work leads to diverse organizations becoming inclusive in order to attract and retain talent, be commercially sustainable, and stay competitive. Cener has worked with international organisations across Europe with industries including pharmaceutical, automotive, manufacturing, and finance as well as retail, media, NGOs, charities and others.
Cener has an MA in Communication & Media Science, and has also studied Social Psychology and Intercultural Communication at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, Germany.
