ADEE 2020 may be postponed but the ADEE Tech Talks and the ADEE Tech Expo are moving online. With a tagline of 'Innovative Dental Education Post Lockdown',
We explore new technologies and remote training and education as experienced by ADEE members and their student body during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The role played by new technologies and online platforms during the COVID-19 lock down has taught us valuable lessons and this is our focus for this session.
The session is member hosted and its content member driven, bringing together academic and corporate partners to share their experiences of using technologies to continue to delivery dental education in times of lockdown and pandemic social distancing.
Our session hosts and panel chairs Carlos Serrano and Marjoke Vervoorn from ACTA (Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam), The Netherlands will facilitate live online discussions based on the selected abstract submissions. The session will also be recorded for on demand use at a later stage. The overall aim is to blend academic and corporate experiences of the use and benefit of technologies in delivering dental education along with an opportunity for our corporate partners to receive feedback from their service users based on extensive use during the pandemic.
