Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide ADEE members and annual meeting delegates with a valuable opportunity to share and explore particular areas of focus and interest over a time-limited period

Each Special Interest Group has a designated chair or chairs, pre-agreed aims and objectives, and a defined lifetime.

Special Interest Group chairs are required to meet formally with the ADEE executive as a core ADEE stakeholder group so as to evolve the work of the Special Interest Groups and understand their value to the educational community

Continuing a productive SIG
If a SIG is clearly well-attended, and has produced useful educational outputs for the community, then the SIG leaders may apply to convert to time-limited SIG, to a longitudinal Community of Practice

Want to start a SIG? Download our guidelines at the bottom of the page
