ADEE Secretary General recently attended and provided the closing remarks at the first International VR-Haptic Thinkers Meetup on November 28, 2023.
Organised and hosted by The Institute of Dentistry at the University of Eastern Finland with the kind support from the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE), this event brought together over 200 global participants.
The conference explored the transformative potential of VR-haptic trainers in reshaping dental curricula, tackling challenges, and fostering collaboration. International speakers, including Marjoke Vervoorn, Barry Quinn, Faisal Mushtaq, Carlos Serrano, Marit Øilo, Nicky Shanks, and Steven Engebretson, contributed to the meeting by exploring various aspects of this cutting-edge dental education technology. The Institute of Dentistry at the University of Eastern Finland extends heartfelt thanks to the Secretary-General of ADEE, who delivered inspirational remarks and shared a clear vision for VR-Haptic Thinkers.
