Session synopsis: 

ADEE President and the ADEE Board invite you to join us for our opening social event for ADEE 2025. Reconnect with colleagues in the historic surrounds of the 19th century Boardroom of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.  A room that holds a prominent place in history as there is an original bullet mark on the main door of the room, dating back to the time Countess Markievicz occupied the building during the 1916 rising.

Our evening will be introduce you to some Irish culture and cuisine, provide you time to connect with colleagues and still allow you time to explore the heart of Dublin on our door step.

Brian O’Connell

Professor of Restorative Dentistry
Trinity College Dublin

Brian O’Connell is currently Dean of Health Sciences at Trinity College, Dublin, with a special interest biomedical education. He co-leads the oral health component of the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA), in addition to research on treatment outcomes and the use of new technology in oral health care. Professor O’Connell is a core member of the European Platform for Better Oral Health, and President-Elect of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).
