Planmeca and LM Dental invite you to this free hands-on course that will provide an introduction practical guide to the equipment, materials and clinical techniques for optimizing direct composite restorations.
Delegates will complete a number of practical exercises designed to help master the functional and aesthetic restoration of posterior and anterior teeth (Spaces are limited to 20 delegates).
By the end of this single day course delegates will be able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and practical skill in the foundations of direct restoration of posterior and anterior teeth in the following subject areas:
- Case selection for posterior and anterior composites
- Aesthetic assessment including shade selection
- Minimally invasive tooth preparation
- Isolation and adhesion. Rubber Dam placement (Anterior and posterior)
- Matrixinng for posterior and anterior composites
- A guide to anatomical shaping of posterior composites, including fissure anatomy, managing interproximal walls and large restorations.
- A guide to composite veneers and Class IV composites (including layering techniques)
- Shaping, finishing and polishing techniques for anterior composites
By the end of this day hands-on course, delegates will be able to get an insight to patient care by optimising the equipment, materials and practical techniques for the restoration of posterior and anterior teeth using direct composites.
