The SIG for sustainability will aim to provide delegates with an update on the SIG activity to date, including the development of learning outcomes for each domain of the Graduating European Dentist curriculum. Delegates will be reminded of the value and importance of educating our students about sustainability and sustainable development goals in relation to oral health care. They will also have the opportunity to discuss how they might utilise the suggested learning outcomes, embed them in their local curricula, and set up assessment opportunities within the spirit of constructive alignment.
The session is co-chaired by Dr Brett Duane, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and Dr James Field, Cardiff University, UK.
