LEADER is a peer review programme offered by ADEE to member and non-member dental schools around the world. Specifically, LEADER provides advice and recommendations to help schools align curriculum, educational environments, and student and staff experiences with current best practice in European oral health education. This feedback is provided by gathering experts in European oral health education to serve on small panels which review schools’ continuous quality improvement efforts in these areas.
A panel’s review is carried out through the evaluation of a Self-Assessment Report produced by a participating school and a subsequent school visit where the report’s content is discussed and validated. Following visit, the panel produces their own report of observations, findings, and recommendations for the school to help them with continuous quality improvement efforts.
