At its recent meeting in Paris (24th Nov 2023), The Federation of European Dental Competent Authorities and Regulators endorsed to its European members, including candidate countries the national use of the “Graduating European Dentist” curriculum.
In doing so FEDCAR welcomed the GED’s relevance to the European dental education context and highlighted the consensus and collaborative approach taken by ADEE in creating the GED and its predecessor the Profile and Competence of the Graduating European Dentist.
You can read the FEDCAR release here.
Recommendation by FEDCAR that national regulators or the national body responsible for accreditation of dental education should strive to instil within its institutions the ethos of the GED is considerable acknowledgement of the work of ADEE Graduating European Dentist Taskforce and its previous incarnations.
