Curaden Workshop: Improving dental students' oral health skills: hands-on learning of healthy behaviours
Session synopsis:
The training of dental students should equally include the acquisition of knowledge, skills and ability to cure disease, as well as maintaining and promoting health. In this context, to teach the practice of efficient oral hygiene habit that respects oral environment is advisable. It is time to change the traditional model of teaching oral hygiene habits based on theory and generalist approaches to another patient-centered and based on new evidences in dental biofilm management.
